Laser Hair Removal McDonough
Remove Unwanted Hair with Aerolase Neo Elite
The Aerolase Neo Elite® laser is your answer to unwanted hair! This highly advanced aesthetic laser offers effective, virtually pain-free hair removal for all skin types, including darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick I–VI). The treatment works best on darker, coarse hair and typically requires six to eight sessions spaced four to six weeks apart for best results. Maintenance may be needed depending on hair regrowth patterns
How the Aerolase Neo Elite laser works:
• 1064nm Nd:YAG laser; ultra-short 650-microsecond pulse
• Targets melanin in the hair follicle, delivering energy that heats and destroys the follicle while sparing surrounding tissue. The short pulse duration allows it to treat without overheating the skin, minimizing the risk of burns or hyperpigmentation, which is especially important for sensitive or richly pigmented skin.
• Virtually pain-free (feels like a warm snap)
• No contact or gels needed
• Minimal risk of burns or pigment changes
• No downtime

The Aerolase Neo Elite laser is a revolutionary treatment for ingrown hair (razor bumps). Known medically as pseudofolliculitis barbae (PFB), ingrown hair is a chronic inflammatory condition caused by shaving or waxing and commonly found in Black men, especially in the beard. Thanks to the unique 650-microsecond pulse of the laser, there is minimal risk of hyperpigmentation on skin of color. A series of treatments is typically required about every four weeks to achieve maximum results, with many clients seeing improvement within a few weeks of the initial treatment. Some clients are able to completely eliminate PFB with the Aerolase Neo Elite laser.
